It was learned from the Chinese Academy of Sciences that China's aluminum alloy (entry "aluminum alloy" was provided by the industry encyclopedia) has made progress in surface protection technology research. In this study, the anti-corrosion and anti-corrosion coating of aluminum alloy surface has excellent anti-friction performance and excellent anti-corrosion performance.
The research makes full use of the surface shape design of aluminum alloy and the synergistic anti-corrosion and wear-resisting effect of organic protective coating, which has the anti-corrosion and wear-resisting effect of 1+1>2; high stability, simple preparation process and good repeatability. The raw materials are cheap and easy to obtain, the cost is low, and the shape of the base material is not limited, and is suitable for surface treatment of a large area of ​​aluminum alloy, and has a good application prospect.
It is understood that the density of aluminum alloy (the term "density" is provided by the industry encyclopedia) is small, the strength (the term "strength" is provided by the industry encyclopedia) high, excellent electrical and thermal conductivity, good plasticity and formability, easy to process, Widely used in aerospace, military, construction, automotive, marine and other fields. However, the hardness of the aluminum alloy is low, the wear resistance is poor, and the corrosion resistance is poor, which limits its application. Therefore, it is necessary to specially treat the surface of the aluminum alloy to form a protective film layer to improve the corrosion resistance of the aluminum alloy. The most effective way to improve the wear resistance and corrosion resistance of aluminum alloy surface is to prepare a film on the surface of the aluminum alloy, and use the barrier formed between the aluminum alloy substrate and the external environment to effectively protect the aluminum alloy and expand its application range. With the rapid development of modern industry, the surface requirements of aluminum alloys are getting higher and higher, some low-cost, less pollution, aluminum alloy surface treatment technology that can meet special conditions will be greatly concerned.
It is reported that the Wu Xuedong research team of the Institute of Materials Technology and Engineering of the Chinese Academy of Sciences combines chemical etching and chemical modification to successfully prepare a film with excellent protective properties on the surface of aluminum alloy. As the etching time increases, the surface roughness of the sample increases first and then decreases. When the etching time is 2 min, the proportion of the surface micro-nano binary structure is optimal. The aluminum alloy modified by OTS and PFDS has the best corrosion resistance, and has a small corrosion current density and a high corrosion potential. This is mainly due to the hydrophobicity of the film, which can effectively block the infiltration of water and other corrosive media, and thus the corrosion resistance is improved. The TTS-modified samples also have the best tribological properties, and the friction coefficient is small. The wear rate is negligible when the etching time is 2 min. This is due to the long-chain and non-polar terminal methyl groups in the OTS. The existence of the group effectively dissipates the mechanical energy transmitted during the friction process, and thus the tribological properties are greatly improved.
