After the application was drafted in 2004, it was approved by the State Quality Supervision Bureau as early as 2007, and was decided by the China Building Metal Structure Association and the Beijing Construction Timber Factory as the main unit, and invited some wooden door and window enterprises and experts to participate in the formulation. It took six years to reveal the true colors of the mountains, which can be described as twists and turns, and is expected.

 

However, when the new national standard of the wooden door and window industry was placed in front of the enterprise on December 1, many companies performed quite coolly. On the day of the implementation of the new national standard, the Beijing Business Daily reporter found in the home furnishing store in Beijing that no matter the size of the brand, the wooden door and window enterprises knew nothing about the new national standard. In a famous home store in Shilihe, Beijing, a salesman named Yingmai's wooden door brand looked blank and said, “I don't know what the new national standard is, only know that our wooden doors and windows are in line with relevant standards.” In the Philharmonic store, the salesperson also said that he had not heard of the new national standard, but he said that their wooden doors and windows are produced according to the high standards of Europe. "The European standard is usually much stricter than the national standard, so even if there is a new national standard , can also meet the standards."

 

The person in charge of the wooden door and window company is also not fluent about the new national standard. Although Mr. Zhao Chonglian, the general manager of Holzmumen, and Zhou Gaohua, the chairman of Lonuomumen, welcomed the introduction of the new national standard, they did not pay attention to the specific content, but only believed that their products would definitely meet the relevant standards. According to an expert who participated in the development of the new national standard, when the new national standard was about to be implemented, he recommended the new national standard to the brand enterprises, but the feedback received was very cold. Some companies don't pay much attention to standards, and they don't understand the standards. Some companies are willing to accept punishment and are not willing to spend time learning standards to avoid mistakes.

 

Multi-enterprise planted in "dip stripping"

 

It is noted that the new national standard has no "immersion and stripping" test item at all. In the past, the standards related to wooden doors and windows, there is a project for enterprises to talk about the change. That is "dip stripping", because there are some standards in this project, some standards are not, the most important thing is that the quality supervision department can easily use it as an inspection item during the inspection because the "impregnation and peeling" project is unqualified. A number of companies have been on the quality black list.

 

On December 10, 2010, China Consumers Association released the comparison test results of 21 wooden door brands. The famous wooden door brands such as Spring and Dragon are all qualified as blacklists due to “dipping and peeling”. However, these companies feel that they are embarrassed. A wooden door brand manager said that the industry standard they implemented at that time was the "WB/T1024-2006 wooden door" implemented in 2006. There was no such thing as "impregnation and peeling", but the inspection was done in 2000. The implementation of the "JG/T122-2000 building wooden door wooden window" this standard to detect. Other companies said that the industry standards in 2006 were the latest, they produced according to the new standards, and gave up the industry standards in 2000. I did not expect the China Consumers Association to take the 2000 standard "speaking things." A year and a half before the comparison test of China Consumers Association, another well-known wooden door brand in Beijing, Shan Jia, has fallen over the “dip-off” project. Because many industry standards do not harmonize the record of “dip stripping”, many companies are eager to call for a national standard, so that enterprises have an accurate reference system when they produce.

 

Standard still inevitably fights

 

The reason why wooden doors and windows enterprises are indifferent to the new national standard is that it is not a mandatory standard, but a recommendation standard. It has certain authority. Other standards have not been declared outdated, and it is difficult to implement them. To some extent, It even increases the burden on the business.

 

As a participant in the development of the new national standard, the wood door and window industry expert Qu Yuliang also admitted that there are still many imperfections in this standard. For example, these standard decision makers come from various industries, some do not understand the industry, and are less professional. Responsible for the board, so there are some content that is out of the industry, and some of the inspection items have been deleted. He also said that there are also inconsistencies in the annotation of the names of various standards. Like a noun, the name is different in different standards. This may also cause many companies to suffer the "false positive judgment". "The formulation of the new national standard is very complicated, and there are also many problems. It also needs to be put into the market to test and improve." Qu Yuliang said.
